WHAT IS MONKEYNASTIX AND WHAT DO WE DO?
Monkeynastix is offered to children from 2 to 8 years old. Monkeynastix is a creative and engaging approach to movement that encourages children to learn and develop in a safe, FUNtastic environment!
It is a broad-based, holistic programme that combines creativity and music with basic training in flexibility, balance, strength, agility, co-ordination and body awareness. Your child will love and learn from each ENERGY PACKED session.
A qualified instructor will come to your child’s school to run one fun filled session per week. Sessions run for 30 minutes and includes a warm-up to music, stretch and tone, and working with specialized, age-appropriate equipment. To get the maximum benefit out of the program, our members are encouraged to complete at least one Monkeynastix cycle of two years.
MONKEYNASTIX POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT
We believe in rewarding children to build their self-esteem. Each child receives a special sticker at the end of each lesson. At the end of the year, your child will receive an awesome Monkeynastix medal.
HEALTHY LIVING HABITS
Learning healthy living habits can be fun! At Monkeynastix, we reinforce what you are doing at home by incorporating the following into our sessions: Emotional Intelligence (e.g. respect for yourself and others), Social Skills and Good Manners (e.g. ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ and waiting your turn), Environmental Awareness (e.g. brushing your teeth, sun protection and hygiene).
OPEN THE DOOR TO LEARNING
Create opportunities for your child to move and participate. Remember, every time your child is active, the door to learning opens. Your involvement, encouragement and support is important.
Signing up is a simple online process and you can join any time during the year or term. You will only be billed 'pro-rata' or monthly for the term in which you join - just follow this link and your child can start benefitting from Monkeynastix Movement Education today!
MONKEYNASTIX T&Cs
REGISTRATION
Children can only be registered online at https://www.monkeynastixcapetown.co.za/registration or once a registration form has been filled in. Registration gives us the permission to 'teach' you child. Unfortunately we cannot allow children into classes without registration.
FEES: ALL FEES ARE PAYABLE IN ADVANCE

TERM CLASS FEES: Class Fees are DUE IN ADVANCE and BEFORE THE START OF LESSONS IN THE TERM, unless payment arrangements have been made and agreed to in advance by Monkeynastix Cape Town.

CLASS REGISTERS: Only the names of members whose accounts are PAID AND UP TO DATE before the start of the term will be on the class attendance registers. The names of UNPAID MEMBER ACCOUNTS WILL NOT BE ON THE CLASS LIST until the fees for the Term has been paid.

UNPAID TERM FEES by the 4th CLASS OF THE TERM, will result in your child being SUSPENDED until the term fee has been paid.

OUSTANDING FEES: Members with outstanding fees FROM THE PREVIOUS TERM will AUTOMATICALLY BE SUSPENDED until the FULL PAST DUE AMOUNT plus the FEE FOR THAT TERM has been paid.

NEW MEMBERS: When registering online you will be taken to the 'Payment' page. Make you selection here and make payment of your Annual Registration Fee and Term Fee BEFORE CLASSES COMMENCE in the term.

DEMOS, DISPLAY AND AWARDS

A demo class will be done at participating schools at the start of each year (or at the start of a term if a new school has joined). This is a ‘free’ class to assess the program before joining.

A display class will be held once a year at which the children can showcase what they have learnt, followed by the presentation of their medals. Display / Prize Giving classes are only done at schools where space permits and permission is granted by the school. Parents are encouraged to attend.
HOLIDAY CLASSES
No classes are presented during holidays although some franchisees may present holiday programs. Please contact your franchisee for details.
TERMINATION
One month’s written notice is required when you want to terminate classes.
